Fine Bubble Diffuser

Fine Bubble Diffuser are an advanced aeration technology designed to efficiently deliver oxygen to wastewater treatment processes. These fine diffusers create a high density of small bubbles, maximizing the surface area for oxygen transfer and enhancing the treatment’s effectiveness. The fine bubbles rise slowly through the water, ensuring thorough mixing and prolonged contact with the contaminants, leading to improved breakdown and removal of organic matter. Their energy-efficient design reduces operational costs, making them an ideal choice for modern wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, the robust construction and low maintenance requirements of fine bubble diffusers contribute to their long-term reliability and performance.

SPIRAL FLOW MIXING MECHANISM LAMINAR FLOW WITHOUT MIXING
MICRO SIZED BUBBLES BUBBLE SIZE MILLIMETER SIZED BUBBLES
1.0 SAME OTR IN CLEAN AND WASTEWATER ALPHA VALUE APPROX 0.4 TO 0.6 ONLY ABOUT 50% OTR IN WASTEWATER
NEVER CLOGGING FREQUENT - NEEDS SHUT DOWN , CHEMICAL CLEANING
CONSTANT EFFICIENCY DECREASES ON OPERATION
> 20 YEARS PRODUCT LIFE LESS THAN 2 YEARS
FEW DIFFUSERS PER UNIT AREAโ€ฆ.ONE TENTH COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL DIFFUSER QUANTITY MANY DIFFUSERS PER UNIT AREA
CAN OPERATE AT HIGH MLSS ( ABOUT 50000 TO 60000 MG/LIT ) ACTIVATED SLUDGE CLOGS FREQUENTLY IN MLSS ABOVE 5000 MG/LIT
NO DRAINING OF TANKS ALSO INSTALLED AND ACCESSED FROM TOP INSTALLATION TANK TO BE EMPTIED FOR INSTALLATION AND ACCESSED ONLY AT FLOOR
NO ANCHORING - AIR FORCE PRESSES THE DIFFUSER FIXING STRONG AND MANY ANCHORING TO FLOOR NEEDED

Micro Bubble Diffuser

Size of the bubbles can drastically influence the oxygen transfer efficiency in the aeration system.
Gasion hydrodynamic aerators produce millions of bubbles in micron sizes which have much larger surface area, compared to millimetre bubbles of diffused aerators. The size is so minute that it cannot travel up to the surface in a straight path. The very low buoyancy of the micro bubbles creates zig-zag path of bubbles moving horizontally more than the vertical distance. This increases the residence time of these bubbles in liquid drastically. The figure illustrates and compares the air bubble size and rising phenomenon of millimetre and micron sized bubbles. It could be noted that millimetre sized bubbles travel up and burst outside on the surface. But the Gasion micron sized bubbles burst inside the liquid itself as it takes much longer before it reaches the top. This bubble burst in liquid accounts for very high OTR of the Gasion Aerators.

Air Flow - Fine Bubble Diffusers

Air Flow

Gasion hydronamic diffusers have an air flow rate capabilities of more than 100 cum/hr per unit against 10 cum /hr of tube diffusers and 5 cum/hr of disc diffusers. One Gasion diffuser can replace 10 tube diffuser or 20 disc diffuser which reduces piping complications for Air grid drastically.

Wastewater Treatment in Chennai

Chennai faces significant challenges due to its rapid population growth and urbanization, which strain the existing sewage infrastructure, leading to untreated sewage being released into water bodies. Industrial pollution from areas into the wastewater necessitates specialized treatment. The monsoon season exacerbates the problem by overwhelming the sewage system and causing untreated wastewater to overflow into streets and water bodies. Inadequate sewage treatment infrastructure and outdated technologies further hinder the city’s ability to address these issues effectively.
